Lake Trout

Season: Jan 1st — Sept 30th

Spend a half day of trolling for Lake of Bays renowned summer Lake Trout, fishing the depths with top of the line dual Scotty downriggers.  As the boat is trolled over schools of suspended baitfish, wait for the inevitable, ‘thump-thump’ to telegraph up the line, and prepare yourself to battle a 10 pound summer Laker!  Mark will introduce several different techniques and types of equipment, depending on the guests preference and time of season.

Smallmouth Bass

Season: June 23rd — Nov 30th

Spend a half day casting into shallow bays, around rock points, and over sunken islands.  Experience the unmatched pound-for-pound fight of the aggressive Smallmouth Bass.  Very commonly, guests will have the opportunity to cast a top-water plug into a sighted frenzy of surface feeding Smallies,  and wait for a heart-stopping, airborne attack!  Mark will introduce a variety of techniques and type of equipment, depending on the guests preference and time of season.
